Seminar
with Peter Slote Sensei
On July 29, 2003, Aikido in Fredericksburg
hosted Peter Slote Sensei, 4th dan, Aikido Institute, for its first seminar
at its new dojo. The event was graced by the “coolest” weather
of a hot and humid week. Peter Sensei focused the evening on integrating
aspects of ukemi, ikyo, and irimingage. The full mat included participants
from Richmond Aikido Kai, Bryant Park Aikido, and Virginia Ki Society. The
students appreciated Peter Sensei’s high energy, precise technique,
